a bunch of yuppy trash.
Jones Diner, The original Second Avenue Deli, CBGB's are all gone. This is
the story of many nyc neighorhoods but through its despair attracted crowds
of artists, musicians, etc. The low rent at the time created this edge.
It has probally held its edge longer than any other NYC neighorhood, but
whats sad is the way it has gentrified.
It probally started with the neighorhooding trump Soho Tower, the beginning
of sky scrapers where they don't belong and through the roof rents.
